On March 14th, Ma Fuqiang, Chairman of the Harnas Group, led a research team to conduct in-depth research at the Yanchi One-Million-Kilowatt Wind Power Base of the New Energy Group. The team inspected the production and operation of the wind farms on the spot, supervised the work of work safety, and visited and expressed condolences to the frontline employees.
The first stop of the research team was the Third and Fourth Wind Farms in Mahuangshan. The new energy business of Harnas started from here. After more than a decade of hard work, the goal of building the Yanchi One-Million-Kilowatt Wind Power Base has been successfully achieved. Currently, it has achieved 5,087 consecutive days of safe production. Relying on high-standard construction, selection of advanced equipment, and a refined management system, through continuous equipment management and optimization, the stability and availability of the units have remained at the forefront of the industry, and the power generation efficiency has always been leading, enjoying a high reputation in the region.
Subsequently, the research team inspected the 330kV substation in Mahuangshan. As one of the four 330kV substations self-built by new energy power generation enterprises in Ningxia, this station undertakes the connection, collection, and transmission of the 700,000-kilowatt new energy power generation project in the Mahuangshan area. It is a hub station of the regional power grid and a demonstration of the company's operational strength. At the Second Wind Farm in Qinglongshan, Chairman Ma Fuqiang led the research team to send condolences and care to the employees of the station. He specifically reminded the frontline employees to take safety protection and keep warm during outdoor operations during the late spring cold spell.
During the research, Chairman Ma Fuqiang went deep into areas such as the step-up substation and the centralized control room, and thoroughly understood the equipment operation and production organization. He fully affirmed the work achievements of the frontline employees. At the symposium, he highly appraised the overall development achievements of the New Energy Group, pointing out that as a benchmark project of the group's clean energy strategy, the Yanchi Wind Power Base has continuously led the industry in terms of equipment reliability, and the production and operation team has demonstrated excellent professional qualities. He emphasized that all cadres and employees should always keep the "safety string" tight and strictly abide by the safety red line; they should make greater efforts in the management of wind turbines, scientifically formulate a "one-machine-one-strategy" management plan, and continuously improve the health level of the units; they should take the initiative to create a clean and orderly working environment to effectively enhance employees' sense of belonging.
2025 is the final year of the national "14th Five-Year Plan" development plan and a crucial year for the rapid advancement of the "dual carbon" strategy. At this pivotal moment of transition, breakthrough, and exploration, Chairman Ma Fuqiang encouraged all cadres and employees of the New Energy Group to stay true to their original aspiration, keep their mission firmly in mind, be confident, and work hard and make achievements; they should boldly explore technological innovation, use digital and intelligent means to empower energy transformation, and demonstrate the responsibility and achievements of Harnas people in serving the overall situation of the national energy strategy.
