The big autumn battle is in full swing, and it's time for the final sprint. On October 29, Hanas New Energy Division held the Q3 2026 Business Activity Analysis Meeting, comprehensively reviewing key work in Q3 regarding safety management, production and operations, and planning and construction. They assessed the current situation and tasks, systematically laid out the measures for tackling Q4, and called on all staff to stay highly alert and give their all to ensure a strong finish for the year. The division’s management, heads of departments, and key business personnel all attended the meeting.

In the third quarter of 2026, facing multiple challenges such as the critical period of peak summer electricity demand, responsibility for supply security during the flood season, and declining average wind speeds, the New Energy Division stuck to steady progress, pushing forward various tasks under pressure with a positive trend. Safety production remained stable. They deepened efforts to tackle the root causes of safety production issues, effectively managed risk levels, and carried out hidden hazard inspections and rectifications, achieving 5,628 consecutive days of safe production. Power generation efficiency showed steady improvement. By deepening technical breakthroughs and focusing on equipment management, the health of equipment noticeably improved, supporting quarterly power generation to meet its set targets. Trading profits stayed ahead. By closely following policy guidance and scientifically coordinating medium- and long-term power trading with spot market trading, the average trading price exceeded targets. In addition, planning and construction, enterprise management, and cultural promotion all progressed in an orderly manner according to schedule, building momentum toward achieving the year-end goals.

Regarding the issues in the third quarter and the annual goals, the meeting laid out the following plans for the fourth quarter: First, be strict and practical to solidify the safety baseline. Focus on the critical period of the autumn-winter transition and preparations for peak winter demand, fully carry out comprehensive safety inspections and special equipment rectifications, ensure safety responsibilities are clearly assigned and implemented, and eliminate existing hazards dynamically. Second, seize opportunities to enhance equipment strength. Take advantage of the window before the high wind season, coordinate the recovery of long-stopped units and special defect rectifications, ensure key tasks are fully completed, and build a solid equipment foundation for peak winter demand. Third, be proactive in strengthening material support. Establish a preventive stock mechanism for spare parts, communicate with suppliers through multiple channels and scientifically plan procurement, and firmly prevent failures and operational losses caused by long-term shortages of parts. Fourth, deepen coordination to strive for trading benefits. Strengthen information collaboration between operation stations and business departments, ensure smooth communication, improve power generation forecasting accuracy, and fully support successful completion and maximization of electricity trading benefits. Fifth, expand space and cultivate growth momentum. On one hand, actively coordinate with government and industry regulators to accelerate planning, development, and approval of ongoing projects; on the other hand, explore the practical applications of advanced technologies like drones on wind farms to discover usable opportunities and gradually apply technology to improve work efficiency. Sixth, solidify the foundation by strengthening training for all staff. Continue knowledge sharing and professional empowerment, focus on systematic training in areas such as basic wind turbine theory, industry layout, and key factors affecting power generation.

At the end of the meeting, Li Zhiqing, Vice President of Hanas Group and Chairman of Hanas New Energy Group, gave a concluding and motivational speech. He pointed out that the New Energy Division has solid advantages like high-quality Vestas equipment, excellent wind resources, and a professional frontline operations team. Facing the ongoing changes in the power market, increased competition, and the obvious rise in difficulties for renewable energy companies to make a profit, the division actively adapts to change and fully leverages initiative. Under multiple challenges and pressures, it has forged a highly cohesive, battle-ready team with efficient and leading production and operations. These achievements are thanks not only to the strong leadership of the group but also to the unity, collaboration, and practical efforts of the new energy team, laying a solid foundation and injecting strong confidence for the next phase of work.

Focusing on sprinting toward the year-end goals in the fourth quarter, Li Zhiqing made another round of mobilization and redeployment. He emphasized that extreme weather is frequent in the fourth quarter, and production safety and equipment management face severe challenges. It’s crucial to always stay alert about safety, reinforce accountability at all levels, and thoroughly identify and address potential hazards with strict measures to firmly secure year-end safety. We need to wrap up power trading properly, ensuring every kilowatt counts, staying focused on annual targets without wavering, and making sure we achieve them successfully. We should carefully review the year's work, closely monitor market changes, actively seize high-price opportunities, plan next year’s goals wisely, and work meticulously to improve operational efficiency. All staff need to boost their morale and tighten the responsibility chain further, using solid work styles to decisively win the year-end battle.

As the year comes to a close, the drumbeats of battle urge us on. The fourth quarter is the decisive moment to determine the whole year and secure the overall situation. Every day is a sprint, and every kilowatt-hour matters for the final results. All employees of the New Energy Division will, with a do-or-die determination and strict, practical approach, ensure safety is tighter, equipment is better managed, electricity output is maximized, and transactions are handled more precisely. We are determined to achieve full success in all yearly targets and tasks, making new contributions to the high-quality development of Hanas New Energy.
